Alex Karpovsky's award-winning first feature film, The Hole Story, was released theatrically last year after a hearty festival run. Filmmaker Magazine selected Alex as one of the "25 New Faces of Independent Film" and he was shortlisted for the "Someone to Watch" Independent Spirit Award. Occasionally posing as a formidable actor, Alex most recently played the male lead in Beeswax, a new film by Andrew Bujalski, the voices of several Russian gangsters in the newly released Grand Theft Auto IV, and Mean Man Mike in Robert Byington's Harmony and Me. Alex's new film, Trust Us, This Is All Made Up, focuses on legendary improv performers TJ Jagodowski and David Pasquesi, and will be premiering at the South by Southwest film festival on March 13th.
